Buchaillie is very much
at the specialist commercial end of the market with highlands, as we are
concentrating on the development of elite genetics to further enhance the
established reputation of buchaillie as a leader in the development of the
beef aspect of the breed together with improved feed conversion, eye muscle
area and meat to carcase ratios of the breed, as well as the commercial use
of highland genetics in cross breeding, the success has been built on the
implementation of some of the latest worlds best practice's in term's of
farm and animal management.
The philosophy behind
buchaillie is the continued search for knowledge in terms of animal health
and sustainable farming practices and the application of those practices.
Part of that
underlying philosophy is that at all times, the welfare of the cattle is
foremost as we believe that the less stress exerted on to the herd, the
higher the productivity.
